As a new album is in the works this is a new version 
of my website and it is in the process of being designed.



I crossed the steppe highway from Asia with the hordes,
the Slavs and Gypsies.  I ran with Alexander.
Dined on wild harvests and brewed herb tea
 within round tent walls. 
I sang to a drum. 

I danced along the mountain-ridge spines of dragons, holding hands
with the outsider: the Celt and Basque, Goth and Finn;
and brought their recipes into my Slavic kitchen.

I gathered wealth that cannot be compared with money:
songs and dances, soups and painted dresses,
compositions of words and flowers
for the centers of our circles. 

Then like Europa I was carried by the bull of enterprise
and cast into the cauldron of civilization.

I carry a silkroad pouch with things to outfit a tea room
so we can meet and enjoy our time together
like human beings.
